Rules of the School

General Rules and Regulations :

In order to acquire fluency in English all the students must speak only English in the school premises.
Students are expected to be present for the daily assembly.
It is compulsory for every student to come to school in full uniform including footwear.
Storybooks, newspapers or periodicals should not be brought to school without the consent of the school authorities.
Students are for forbidden to play, shout or run about in the classrooms and verandahs. They must never sit on the teacher's chair on the desks.
Students must help to keep the school premises clean and tidy. It is strictly forbidden to write or scratch on the school walls, furniture and black board. Waster papers, peels and seeds of fruits must be thrown in the waste bins provided. Students who damage school property must replace the damage.
No gifts or donation to the teachers are allowed.
Parents / visitors are strictly forbidden to enter the school premises except occasions specified by the school authorities.
No student is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the Principal.
No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be made without the approval of the Principal.
Parents are requested to take careful note of the communication of teachers in the pages of the school calendar.
Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, negligence of work, cheating, disobedience or disrespect towards teaching and non- teaching staff, or bad moral influence upon other children-all justifies dismissal from the school. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct within and outside the school.
Courtesy, refined manners, good behavior are all to be maintained by the efforts of parents and teachers in harmony. A spirit of loyalty and gratitude should be cultivated at home; a spirit of generous involvement and dedication to the ideals of the school should be the aim of the parents and student.
Students are expected to participate in all the activities of the school.
The permission of the principal is required for any student activities such parties, picnics, excursions, class-organizations etc.
Forgiving parent's signature or altering marks and grades will be viewed seriously.
Students must be modest in their dress code even on special occasions.

School Hours :

L.K.G. to Std XII
- 09.00 a.m to 12.20 p.m
- 1.00 p.m to 03.50 p.m
Pupils should be in the school premises by 8.30 a.m.
Pupils who do not arrive in time for assembly will be marked "Late"
Continual lack of punctuality will result in dismissal from the school.

Office Hours :

Daily 9.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m [Except on Sunday and Holiday]

Parents and guardians will not be permitted to meet teacher or visit class rooms or staff room during school hours.

Enquiries of all kind may be made at the school office or in writing. The Principal may be called on in working days between 10.00 a.m. - 12 Noon.

School Bus :

School buses are provided to pick up students. The students who come by school bus will have to pay bus fare before 15th of every term.

Parents are responsible to reach the children to the particular bus stops in the morning and take them before in the evening.

Student s who come by school bus are to be instructed by their parents not to leave the school by any other means without informing the school authorities.

Punctuality :

"Be always in time, Too late is a crime"
Students who absent themselves for five or more days without getting permission are liable to get suspended from school.
Names of habitual late comers will be removed from the school register without further warning.
Students without adequate attendance will be stopped from appearing for the promotion examination.
The Punctual return of students from home after the holiday is strongly insisted upon. Nobody will be allowed extension of holidays expect on production of a medical certificate.
Attendance :

Students must obtain 100% attendance during the academic year. Great importance is given to the achievement of this goal and in this respect we expect full support and co-operation from taking leave for various ceremonies.
The student absenting himself/herself from school for fifteen working days without notice will be marked "Left". He/She will have to be various ceremonies.
A student absenting himself/herself from school for 3 days continuously on medical grounds will be asked to produce a medical certificate on his/her return.
No student shall absent himself/herself without obtaining leave previously. Absentees or latecomers should not enter the class without the written permission of the Principal.
Library Rules :

All students and staff are member of the Library.
Students are allowed to borrow one book at a time and retain it for a period of one week. The Librarian may call for a book borrowed by any member even before the expiry of the normal period of a week. Reference books cannot be taken out of the library. Borrowers are requested to examine the books at the time of borrowing and report to the librarian any damage, loss of pages, pictures etc.
Borrowers shall not pass on the books to others.
Books borrowed shall be kept neatly. No marking, underlining or damage to the book is allowed.
Books, which are lost, damaged or wrongly handled, will have to be paid for or replaced. The discretion of the Principal in this matter will be final.
Strict silence should be observed in the Library.
Lunch :

"Vegetable is a must in every day's lunch
And a fruit for the break time.
Students should bring lunch to school themselves.
Students are requested to bring a tablecloth or a mat to avoid soiling and staining their surroundings. The remains should be placed in the waste-bins.
Parents or maidservants are strictly forbidden to bring lunch even for K.G. students.
Students should use the sink only to wash their hands.
Transfer Certificate :

A handwritten application by the father should be submitted for the Transfer Certificate before a week. It shall not be issued unless all the fee dues for the term in which pupil last attended have remitted.
